Sahara Desert Tour Packing List: What to Bring
A Sahara Desert tour is unlike any other part of your Morocco trip, and packing right makes a real difference. Here's a practical list:

Clothing: lightweight, breathable layers for the day (temperatures can hit 35°C+ in summer), plus a warm jacket or fleece for the evening — desert nights get surprisingly cold, even in summer. A scarf or shemagh protects your face from sand and sun.

Footwear: closed shoes or sandals that can handle sand; flip-flops alone aren't ideal for camel treks.

Essentials: sunscreen (SPF 50+), sunglasses, a reusable water bottle, a headlamp or torch (camps often have limited lighting), and a portable phone charger since outlets are rare in desert camps.

Other useful items: wet wipes, a light day bag for the camel trek (leave your main luggage with the vehicle), and any personal medication.

Most of our desert tours include one night in a private or shared camp with dinner and camel trekking included — pack light, and we'll handle the logistics.
